Two new trustees tapped for Flagler College Board

Angela Brav, a hospitality industry veteran, and Bradley Brown, corporate treasurer for Ally Financial, Inc. are the newest trustees of the Flagler College Board of Trustees. Their tenures will begin on May 23.

Brav most recently served as CEO for the Europe and Northern Africa region for Intercontinental Hotels Group, based in London. With IHG, she managed a $3 billion hotel and resort portfolio of almost 700 units. She brings a wealth of hospitality and business acumen to the board, including in the nonprofit sector.

She resides in Atlanta, Ga. where her consulting firm, AB Consulting, is based. Brav is a Baker College graduate, where she received her bachelor’s in management. Her husband, Tony Bulak, is a St. Augustine native.

Brown is responsible for capital, liquidity and interest rate risk management at Ally Financial, which he joined in 2011. He previously served as the funding executive with responsibility for the strategy, planning, and execution of securitizations and structured funding globally. He has also worked in similar capacities at Bank of America and PwC.

He resides in Charlotte, N.C. Brown is a Flagler College graduate, and earned his master’s in business administration from University of Tampa. His daughter is a Spring 2019 Flagler College graduate.
